6/22/2010 janet & michael's day in seattle

matt's sister janet and her son michael flew up to seattle for a day. the purpose was to pick up matt's corolla. their plane arrived at like 9am and we gave them a whirlwind tour of the city. 1st was a drive around lake sammamish, the route we normally bike. it was a good day. we saw (total all day) at least a dozen eagles, a deer, a couple herons, lots of fish, a seal, lenin and a troll.

a deer about 1/2 way up the lake. janet saw it and by the time we pulled over and walked back it had taken cover in the shrubbery (shrubbery. what a great word.)
